Summary
Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition is a New Nintendo 3DS only game, therefore it crashes frequently in Citra. Netplay also does not work. The game is however playable from first chopping down wood all the way through beating the Ender Dragon, with workarounds. You will likely have to do the Ender Dragon battle in peaceful, given the large amount of mobs that spawn with it. However, I can confirm it is 100% possible to finish the game.
